I’m not your traditional designer.
It took me awhile to embrace imposter syndrome with my atypical background; I still struggle. I didn’t graduate with a fine arts or graphic design degree; instead, I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. After a decade in pharma, I decided to pursue a path that would allow me to blend creativity and problem-solving with far-reaching impact through the medium of technology, and I haven’t looked back. (maybe a few times…)
Through the support of the many mentors who guided me along this journey and some determination to prove “them” wrong, I have been able to overcome challenges and grow to where I am today. I am truly passionate about doing the right thing for people, and I am unafraid to question the status quo when necessary. I acknowledge that I still have a lot to learn, and I genuinely welcome constructive feedback that will help me and my craft continue to improve.

My values
Just a few of the values I try to live by in all spheres of my life.
Integrity
I aim to maintain high integrity in all my relationships, both at work and in my personal life. Upholding integrity is essential, as it fosters trust, and I strive to earn that trust through unwavering honesty and by doing what is genuinely best for those I care about, including my team and customers.
Humility
I’m not perfect, though at times, my ego would certainly like to argue otherwise. When it comes to creating innovative designs for humans and the collaborative team effort it takes to reach the finish line successfully, it’s an ongoing journey for me to consciously check my ego at the door and trust both the customer and my team.
Empathy
Without empathy, I would find myself lacking in conviction. It is essential for me to genuinely understand various perspectives and actively broaden my worldview, as this process helps me to challenge my own biases and presumptions, ultimately leading to richer and more thoughtful creations.
